When we built our home a few years ago we had to wait for the courtyard to be in reality what we imagined it in our minds. This year we decided that we could do something small to move in the direction of an outdoor living space. Troy did most of the work but with the help of some fabulous tools we borrowed, we got the courtyard concrete stained and we are happy with the way it turned out. 
It rained for a a few Saturdays and postponed our plans but we were finally able to finish. The first coat looked like dried pee and we were VERY nervous but with a second coat it turned into what we wanted and now all we need are plants =). Here are some picture so you can see something Troy should be proud of. I am so glad I married a man who is not afraid to try to do things on his own and that he has the patience to research and see things through. Now we are one step closer to the goal. Good job babe.
